About the event

Workshop with MC Presents: Mark Carter & Beza Mickan White – Breaking Free from Distractions, Leading Focus into Impact

Join us for an unforgettable evening of inspiration, collaboration, and celebration at the Women Making It Work July Networking Event! This event will feature two incredible guest speakers, Mark Carter and Beza Mickan White, of MC PRESENTS, who will be returning to run a super cool, punchy, interactive session on productivity and time allocation —aligned with our 2025 theme: Empowering Business Growth.

Who are MC Presents:
Mark Carter – International keynote speaker & expert in business culture and communication
Beza Mickan-White – Dynamic MC, media personality & creative director

As Arnie, in the role of Terminator, once said, “We’ll be back…” and MC and Bez will return this July to host another inspiring evening with Women Making It Work. What, you ask, will they be covering? Well, following on from the message from their last session (of embracing creativity and stretching that muscle) they have shared the July session theme through inspired verse…

From Terminator to Innovator,
Own your own moments, be the motivator.
Focus with purpose, control your own pace,
Create, inspire, and lead your own race.

We speak of managing time each day,
But time simply flows, it won’t obey.
You can’t control the ticking race,
But where you spend it shapes its place.

So shift the game, rewire your view,
It’s time allocation, what, when, where, how, and who.
Not cramming more, nor chasing fast,
But choosing what creates and lasts.

Many call multitasking ‘might,’
But what splits your focus, dulls your light.
True power lies in tasks made prime,
One by one, not all at one time.

Invest in moments rich with worth,
In work that fuels, in acts that serve.
For time well spent should leave its trace,
Through value built, through impact placed.

What should you expect to walk away with from this session? You’ll leave with a list of ideas to get more from less, in addition to specific, behavioural science-based tools for maximising your personal impact and minimising what detracts or distracts!

Google Maps may take you on a closed road just before the sales centre. Don’t turn right onto Hardys; keep going through the traffic lights, turn right onto Croft, and turn right onto Wild Goose Way until you get to the sales centre.
